Challenge

Replacing the hand written method in use by warehouse pickers and packers with a method to streamline order picking and recording lot codes of inventory shipped to each customer.

Solution

Designed a tablet based system that wireless mounted to the pickers carts and could easily be moved around the packing area and connected to the company cloud. Allowing for real time order locking/updates from the companies CRM. Real time chat with front office staff. Tracks picking of items in real time to avoid employee overlap and greatly reduce fulfillment mistakes. Requires packers to record all lot codes before automatically printing the associated shipping labels via thermal printer.
